To ensure your move is carried out to a high standard, with a full strategy, it is important that a free removals survey is arranged with one of our surveyors at a time that is convenient to you. We can arrange this appointment during the day, evenings or weekends and remember this is a free no obligation service.
If for any reason this isn’t possible we can carry out a free video survey with yourself over the phone or call us to discuss other options.
Arranging your free survey is very easy, just a few clicks or a phone call away.
A survey is beneficial in many ways. Firstly you get to meet a member of our removal company in person and ask any questions you may have or for any free advice. And the surveyor gets to see what size of job yours is.
During your survey your surveyor will get to see what items you need to move so that we send the correct size of vehicle/s on the day, whether you require boxes supplied or packed, any access issues, and to hear of any special requirements you may have yourself. With this information we can then give you a fixed price quote for your home removal or office move.
Once this information is in hand we then formulate a moving strategy that meets your needs and requirements and base our price on that.
Your removal survey will generally take between 15– 40 minutes depending on property type and however many questions need to be asked by yourself or the surveyor.
Once we have carried out the survey and answered any questions you may have the information we have noted down will be sent back to the office along with a chat with the surveyor. We do this so we get a personal feel for what type of job yours is and to hear about any special requirements you have. This information then forms the basis of your quote.
Your removals quote is then emailed over to yourself, and is usually done the same or following day.
We generally advise you to start collecting your quotes around 6 – 8 weeks before your proposed move date. This will allow you to plan for your move, and give you time to decide which Removal Company you will use for your upcoming home or office move. Most professional removal companies will generally get booked up around 2 -3 weeks in advance for dates, especially on Friday and Saturdays as these are very busy days in the removal calendar.
